About us
My name is Charlotte, and I'm the owner of kennel Sunlily.
I've had dogs by my side whole my life, and I've always fancied the aussie. So when I was eighteen I finally got my first one. A real kangaroo and peoplepleaser called Nagini. She came to me at eight weeks from Chilja Kennel, and was my everything.
Although I only got to spend her 3 first years with her, she has learn me a lot of the breed. And I can honestly say that it's not a day to go by that I'm not falling in love with the breed all over again!
The things I love about the breed is that it's always prepeard to new tasks and adventures, it's so energic and happy, and bouncy! It has stamina, is funny and is a breed that loves to please you. It's a breed that loves to do some really dirty-work, but at the same time could just walk right into the showring. I'll say it's simly perfect! They have it all - both brains and beauty!
An aussie for me is a dog that should be healthy, look absolutly stunning, have stamina and should love to work whether it's in rain, snow or shining sunshine, and in whether it's hearding cattles, going obedience, search and rescue, or what so ever. This breed is made for working, and I think it's important to keep that in mind when breeding. If an aussie could be all that, I believe you have the perfect dog - and that's what I want to reach for and represent.
My prefix is Sunlily and is a mash up of my two first aussies pedigreenames Chiljas Wagtail Lily "Nagini" and Chiljas Cirque Du Soleil "Mew" (meaning Circus Of the sun). In that way they both still have a big and important piece in my breeding even though they will never be a part of my breeding program.
